There are many circuits to do around Aix en Provence, the first of which is that of Sainte-Victoire. Leave Aix en Provence via the “Route de Cézanne”, then reach the village of Tholonet and its 18th century castle. Then admire the most beautiful view of the mountain from Beaurecueil.

You can visit the Abbaye de Silvacane in La Roque d'Anthéron, one of the 3 great Cistercian abbeys of Provence, and the wine estates of the Pays d'Anthéron. 'Aix which alone has 5 Appellations d'Origine Contrôlée including Côtes de Provence and Palette. This abbey is classified as a Historic Monument.

It is an architectural center classified as a Historic Monument: mixing art and architecture located on the edge of Aix en Provence. It houses works by the artist Vasarely integrated into the facades and walls of the building. The building became an integral part of his work, the visual arts blending into the architecture.

A few steps from our Cardinal Hotel, a new Art Center has opened its doors in the Hôtel de Caumont , fully restored 18th century mansion. Its aim is to present two important temporary exhibitions per year dedicated to the great names in the history of art, from ancient art to the present day.
